# MC Control from inside sub MC

Hey,

Having a small issue.

I have some MC’s with MC’s inside them. basic structure is below. HTML wont let me draw it nicely, however it’s fairly obvious - 2 MCs in 1 MC all inside the root.

I’m looking to change the .\_y value of the ‘words’ MC from inside the ‘circles’ MC. They are both inside the ‘buttons’ MC. Is this possible? I have tried everything I can think of, but to no avail. It’s probably something small that I’m completely overlooking.
