# Mc detection problem, help!

My problem: I have 5 mc’s activated by five buttons, I need to detect when an mc has already been activated by a button so that subsequent buttons can see that the action has already been activated and doesn’t repeat the same action. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Example: 5 frosted image mc’s, only 1 image is revealed unfrosted when you first see the images, on rollover of any of the remaining four frosted images the first image reverts to frosted, at the moment I have an action that tells that movie to frost but I have this repeated on each button which causes the first image to flicker, that’s where I need help so that any of the remaining buttons can identify whether image1 has been frosted or not, if it has then don’t repeat the action to frost. phew!, I think that explains it 🙂
