# Menu navigation

Hi there

i would like to create a flash menu web page navigation type thingy.

the page is [www.midlandkarting.co.uk](http://www.midlandkarting.co.uk)

as you can see theres a bit of flash on there…but very basic…thats about as far my skills go.

the way i would want it to work is, the menu stays the same as in with the rollover effect but in flash, and, when you press a link the menu scrolls off to the left and the text part of things, i guess would be in a seperate txt file from the research i’ve tried to do, would kinda roll off the screen to the right in a cool kinda way and the new text would then scroll/roll onto the page from the right. And the scroll bar thats currently on the div on some pages would blend in with the background i guess in some sorta way.

I know thats asking alot, and since i have next to no knowledge on how to do this, i ask to be pointed in the right direction of some tutorials that explain as close as possible to what i want. as searching the net for this with no knowledge is not very good. once i get the hang of things, maybe i’d be able to help myself to information.

one step at a time would be best i would of thought…like start with the menu and linking first before the special effects stuff.

i have flash mx 2004

and i guess have 2 choices for people - flash or non-flash site, but thats a diferent story altogether
