# Menu slides in and out

Hi everyone!

If anyone could help, I would be super thankful!

So I am attempting a menu that would slide in and out of the stage when an active portion is clicked…  
Like the SOTW - [http://www.pridaspublicidad.com/v313/main.html](http://www.pridaspublicidad.com/v313/main.html) - the bottom portion where the colors swatches are…

Here is what I want it to look like…

when the top blue portion is clicked, it slides down.  
when the close botton is clicked, it slides back up.  
The blue portion is where the music playlist will be.

I did this by loading an swf into an empty mc.  
It all worked fine until I realized that I would be using “unloadmovie” to get rid of the blue-thing and make the root menu available… (all the brown squares)  
However, the unloadmovie will not work in this case because by doing so, the music will also stop - which I do not want.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this problem?  
Or can someone point me in the right direction… with AS
