# Mirror actions with duplicateMovieClip?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone could help me with this one… Im still a relative newbie and have been working on my flash idea for ages and now something like this comes up!!

Is it possible using duplicatemovieclip to create a 100% real time copy of a movieclip - it basically is simply a mirror? Everything that happens to movieclip a happens to its mirror b - the only catch is movieclip a is onstage and movieclip b is off stage (at least in the beginning)

What it is is this – I have one instance of a movieclip on stage, and another instance of the same movieclip offstage. The user executes actions on the movieclip on stage and then clicks a button to go to the frame with the other instance of the clip. what I want is for the one off stage to be an exact real time copy of the one onstage - that is to have executed the same actions etc.

any help really appreciated. thanks very much.
