# Missing something obvious, simple anim problem

Hey, thanks for reading this. I am missing something really obvious here but can’t figure out what it is:  
I have a MC with 3 frames: stop() on the first frame and a gotoAndStop(1) on the 3rd. I want the animation to move to the second frame momentarilty so I can see the image but it doesn’t seem to be doing this. I can only get this to work if show the image on the second frame for 2 frames.  
What I can’t figure out is why i can’t see the second frame momentarily
