# "Monster" The movie

[font=Verdana]I just watched Monster and didn’t like the sentence she got…[/font]

[font=Verdana]9 years in jail followed by the death penalty.[/font]

[font=Verdana]Given that she was a victim of circumstance my sentence for her would have been.[/font]

**[font=Verdana]5 years jail.[/font]**  
[font=Verdana]The jail sentence is not for punishment, but so she could receive counseling and further education in a controlled environment without fear of her re-offending while under going treatment.[/font]

**What would you have given her ?**
