As a followup to my 2 posts from last week, I spent a good chunk of the weekend diving into CSS and its amazing the things that can be done (from the perspective of an old tables guy).

A few years back, my experience with Javascript was mainly for rollovers, form validation, and popups. The Wikipedia page pretty much mentions those 3 things too.

None of those things really matter to me now much- I dont intend to do image rollovers (CSS does that better) nor popups (FF kills that) nor form validation (I dont get involved in much of forms sending stuff back to a database app)

So what is Javascript really used for mostly in 2007? (TIA)
