# Most efficient way?

I have a little character creation thing. I need an efficient way how I can get this to work. The different parts of the character are put together in 1 image, and are shown. Now I need it to load with default character parts (default bitmaps). And then there’s 2 buttons + and - for different features such as hair color, hair style, etc… I don’t need help with most of that, just the part where it starts with a default bitmap, and then pressing a button will change the source, an example of a logic that would work should suffice.
