I was wondering if it would be possible to play a movieclip based on the computeSpectrum. When you visualize the spectrum 256 bars will react to the music played with values -1 to +1. I would like to have a spectrum with 8 bars and when a value exceeds 0.8 (for example) a movieclip should play.

Bar 1 = low tones to bar 8 = high tones

For example: A song with a lot of bass is visualized in 8 bars. When the bass comes bar 1 and 2 shoot out because of the deep tones. When bar 1 exceeds 0.8 movieclip\_bar1 should start playing.

How can I achieve this?

Help would be usefull!
