Hi,

I’ve been fiddling around with After Effects and Flash, exporting tracking data from the former and using it to distort a bitmap in the latter:-

The test works well locally; though online I run into problems where the tracked bitmap slips from the FLV on which it sits.

What binds everything together is an FLVPlaybackComponent firing CUE\_POINT events, which provide the location of the four corner points used by an instance of Flash Sandy’s [DistortImage](http://www.flashsandy.org/blog/distortimage-in-as3.html) class.

It’s not about jerky playback. It’s about the bitmap remaining synchronised with the FLV, regardless of playback integrity. It’s almost as though the CUE\_POINT event isn’t being fired when the FLV stutters (next thing to check after the weekend).

Is there anything I can do, has anyone experienced anything similar, or am I reliant on the host being able to serve the FLV at sufficient speed (out of interest, the video is currently coming from a dedicated video streaming server - what goes quicker I don’t know)?

Am I even making sense?

Thanks in advance,
