Hi,

I am new to flash world. I apologize in advance if the issue below is a generally understood concept.

I have a sprite which hosts a pie chart slice (actually a donut chart slice, composed of two arcs joined by two parallel lines)

I am trying to respond to a ‘mouse over event’ for this shape. The event seems to trigger as soon as the mouse enters over a rectangular area encompassing the donut slice. This becomes quite messy when there are multiple slices comprising a full donut chart.

Is there a way out of this?

Thanks,
