# Mousetrail \[FMX\]

How do I change the text color in the mousetrail. I have tried wrighting letterformat.color = “#FF0000”; But that had no effect.  
I hope somone can help me!!!

make sure you put 0x before your hex #. And don’t use a “#” sign. Like this:

```auto

letterformat.color = "0xFF0000";

```
