# Movie clip loses functionality on cut and paste

Hello everyone,

here is the[size=3][size=3][link](http://www.planetlucid.com/motiv/index.htm)[/size][/size]to the swfs in question.

the one on the top works…but when i cut and pasted the working file into a new file(bottom one), it somehow doesn’t work. Why would it make a difference if all the code is correct. its an independent, unlabeled movie symbol.

any thoughts?
