# Movie loading

Whenever i make a preloader by following a tutorial or using a component… and i wanna check it out… i can’t…

if i do test movie the movie just starts caus eit already has it and doesn’t need to load it… and i’m too lazy to put it on a server just to see the stupid preloader…

any suggestions?

You need to put the file on the server to test your preloader.

That is the only method I know, since if it is being read off of your computer anywhere, it will load too fast, therefore you have to download it off of a server to test it.

after u hit ctr + enter to view the swf press it again and it will use the connection in ur debug menu and preview it like that 🙂

And if you want to adjust the speeds of the “download” you click the debug menu after you push ctrl+enter. You can even set your own rate to be really slow if it is a really small file just to make sure that your preloader functions.
