# Movie.swf?variable=value with mozilla

I want to pass variables in the object/embed tag using movie.swf?special=value  
I’ve declared var special; in the movie & it works fine in IE. Mozilla (FFox08,NS7)on the other hand doesn’t seem to like this.

Anything I should know, links I should read ?
