# Movie Symbol Keyframe

I have a movie symbol on one layer. I make several keyframes on this layer. I am expecting the movie symbol to play from the beginning every time a new keyframe pops up on the layer. But this doesn’t happen: the movie symbol just goes at its own pace, repeating only when its done with the animation inside of it.

add AS to tell your movie clip symbol to gotoAndPlay(1) on each keyframe…

altho if i wer u id move those keyframes onto a new layer and if u hav nething else on them stick the AS on another layer entirely (named appropriately ie. “actions”)
