# MovieClip of Graphic ? Stop action?

Hello everyone !

Is it better to edit a symbol (picture)  
as a graphic or a Movie Clip?

If I have a one frame MovieClip,  
do I need to add a “stop” action  
in that MovieClip?

Hello:

a movie clip is more robust (in can have instance names to called out by Action Script)…

and if your movie clip is one frame with a graphic, then no stop is needed (if it is an amination within a mc, then a stop is needed)…

I use movieclips! I don’t use graphics at all!  
And You do not have to use a stop action in a one-frame movieclip cuz there is nowhere els to go than that same frame!😏

I don’t use graphics either. I once read  
that movie clips are better… They can  
make the file size less heavy.  
( I gotta take that english course !) :x
