# Movieclip rollover - frame problem

please view the attached file - when u rollover the button (actually a mc) it’s supposed to goto and play a certain frame. however, as u can see, the reaction isn’t too smooth and the cursor goes crazy. anyone can help me?

The problem was that when you animated the content within the MC, the cursor wasn’t really on top of anything more. I solved it by adding a layer in your MC that contains a 0% alpha rectangle the same size as the “button”.

I keep doing stuff like that myself, and then grinding over the coding for hours before I realize that I messed up in the simplest way possible. 🙂
