# Movieclips as background transitions

is is kinda troubling me,  
imagine the background image for “homepage” is “x”, and i have subsequent links (naturally) to other chapters/pages. now if i’m on “homepage” and click “chapter 1 button” i want image “x” to perform a fada and scale transition to the background image for “chapter 1”, no problem, i can do that… but what if i click “chapter 1 button”, but i’m on the “chapter 2” page, my transition must change, how can i specify where i am at, or which would require less as, to just have the image from the page i’m leaving perform an unload function to play the transitions in a more independant manner? does this make sense?
