# Moving buttons?

hey peeps,

How would I make a moving button stop moving when the mouse is over the button? I know this is sample I’m having a brain freeze…help please…ck:sure:

well that’s what I’m wondering… It’s basicly a movie clip that has been made into a button. the button move’s around and I just want to know how I would go about writing a script for it to stop when the mouse is over the button…

oh i see … you need the whole thing 🙂

search in the forums … i posted something like that a few days ago =)  
it should get you started and then you can modify it the way you want 😉

**random moving mc tutorial** or something along those lines is the title of the thread …

I’ts quite simple, just make thi up state of your button a movieclip and have your motion in there  
then the over state in your button you have no motion…

do you follow?
