# MP3 Import problem

When I try to import an MP3 file (specs below) I just bought off Amazon into Flash CS4, I get an error that reads “One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them.” (btw, thanks Adobe for this very, VERY helpful problem description).

I tried other MP3 files and they worked no problem. Does anyone know if there’s a specific type of MP3s that Flash hates? Maybe I need to convert my MP3 to be encoded differently?

MP3 Specs:  
MPEG 1 Layer III, 224kbps, 44100 Hz, JS

UPDATE:

I try to convert my file to a lower bitrate, so using some random software I found (Alt WAV MP3 WMA, OGG Converter - lol) I converted it to 112kbps, 32000 Hz MP3 - still no go with the output file ☹
