# mp3 \> .swf audio files?

alright, so i have downloaded this simple flash file here: [http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Sound/Controls/Flashtra-Daniel\_H-8056/index.php](http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Sound/Controls/Flashtra-Daniel_H-8056/index.php) i tried to edit it to make it play my songs, but it keeps giving me an error. anyone know why? and one more question, how to i convert it from .mp3 \> .swf to play the files? thanks

Can you send us your file??
Once you have the track in flash, it converts it to a swf.
If you can post your fla here so we canhave a look at it =)

what i usually do is make a mc with the mp3 file, set the mp3 to stream mode anf place the mp3 mc on my timeline and hit ctrl+enter on pc command + enter on mac and you have your mp3 converted into a swf fiel

That player looks like a modified Flashtrak player, if so then you’ll need a special program to create the data.swf files that is only compatible with the Flashtrak player.
Creating your own swf file with a mp3 embeded doesn’t work with that type of player.
