hi all

im working on a racing game i posted in another thread and im trying various methods to have a kind of “music player” in game

so far ive tried 2

ive loaded in all 3 mp3s into the main game file which obviously makes the size alot bigger and also slows it down slightly

the second method ive tried is having a movielip called “music” that loads in another movieclip (seperate swf) with the selected mp3 on. this keeps the size down nicely but slows the game to a crawl

can anyone suggest any other methods at all? eventually im thinking there will be 5-8 mp3 music tracks but i need to keep the game size down, and the speed up

any advice would be great 🙂 thanks guys!
