Don’t know. I’m a musician as well, so if I was going to make something full lenghth, I would do it myself. If you’re posting your movie on the web, you do have to be aware of copyright laws when using others’ music without permission. If you have a song in mind, write a letter, permission is usually given free with a link or advertisement.

Good luck!!

If anyone would like high-quality rock mp3’s for use in a flash piece, I have a power-pop / rock band called The Cautions, similar to Weezer, The Cars and Elvis Costello.

We have several MP3 songs (all about 2-3 minutes long) that would make great flash background music. We’ve been in a couple of movie soundtracks, and have won several big music awards, including Top 10 in the American Music Awards’ “New Music Award” national contest.

I just ask:

1. let me know you will be using it (and where).
2. place a music credit somewhere in the piece or on the html page where it will be used, for example:

Music by \<a href=“[http://www.thecautions.com](http://www.thecautions.com)”\>The Cautions\</a\>"

Enjoy! -Eric Barao, The Cautions
