# \[MX\] LoadMovie ... of DOOM!

Hello there!

I have a question!

I have an instance in a movie where I load a graphic into a movie clip, like so:

[AS]loadMovie(imageURL, imageContainer);[/AS]

Normally it works fine, but…

I have buttons that navigate to different labels on the timeline. If a user clicks on one of those buttons, and goes to a different spot on the timeline when the loadMovie hasn’t finished, the flash movie itself disappears into a dark unseen abyss, and is replaced by the loadMovie image…

Any idea what might be happening, and how I can protect myself, and my beloved flash movie from the dark forces that beckon it?
