# \[MX\] loadVariablesNum HELP!

Im using [AS]loadVariablesNum(“News2.txt”,0);[/AS] in the main movie and it works fine, however when I transfer the dynamic text box to a movieclip I change the _level_ of which to load the Varaible from to 1. It doesnt work though! If you want to see the site im putting it into its at [The Gordon Schools](http://www33.brinkster.com/blowtorch/site1.html). Its in the “News” section.
