# MX Preloader for external SWF - HELP!

Hi. OK, so I followed the tutorial on Kirupa and managed to mess the wole thing up. What in the world does \_root.section reference?!

I know I’m not an AS guru by any stretch of the imagination, but I just desperately need a very simple preloader for externally loaded SWFs. THey’re all small files, but god forbid somebody’s dialing up…Doesn’t have to be fancy, doesn’t have to be masked, doesn’t have to be animated, just something…

My buttons all live in a seperate “Nav” movie clip on the main stage, does this make a difference?

Please help. I’m getting total Code Brain Fry!
