# MX2004 external SWF loading problem

hi everyone!  
my flash MX 2004 professional, can’t load external .swf by the following command:

on (release) {  
\_root.loader.loadMovie (“external.swf”);  
}

and when i click, the main movie returns to the 1st frame !  
i want to know why! someone can help me, please?
