The design looks good but you are loosing the details because of the textures.
I will say one thing, you are going to be building some really good Meshes after you get the hang of it. So far you get the concept of details. It taks a while for some first time modelers to realize that, but you seem to have this right off. . . . . good stuff

i realised that the model lost some depth because of the textures. I corrected that and also fixed some modeling issues I had with the mech

Hmm to me it just looks like a bunch of shapes just thrown together.

I say first do some sketches of diffrent views, refine ur design, then model piece. The more detail the better IMO for robots 😛

Wow… what an improvement. I should get a copy of C4D somehow… 3DS Max is way too complicated and I nearly forgot how to use it…

Good work badmonur.

im not modeling this anymore…im done with it. and it pretty much is a bunch of shapes thrown together besides the body and feet. the legs and gun are just shapes put together to look like a gun. but I doubt I could make a better one by making it from scratch. Somtimes simple shapes are best. Thanx for all of the support and help, even the advice even if some wasnt appreciated as much. Its glad to see that my first projects were such a sucess.

Hmmm, I think for a first try he did pretty good, I have seen some first attempts at modeling . . . trust me he did just great.

You can’t expect someone to build the Millenium Falcon on their first try, this is not going to be. But what shows a good potential modeler is whether or not they grasp the idea of concept and construction and clearly he does.

Building a Mech from scratch is an awesome project but given the complexity of what he did already I am sure that in no time he will bang one out just fine.
