the frame must have shifted or some supports were damaged. That would write off the car for sure. It’s way more expensive to fix that stuff than buy a new one of the same vehicle.

It is lava. Spurt of the moment type of thing. In the end it was a waste of $6,000 in my opinion. Oh well, learn from mistakes. Girls likes it though. Sort of resembled a hot dog sprayed with ketchup and musturd.

Thanks for the concerns all.
Dan - your truck is/was sweet. too bad it had to go, like mine.
Almost a shame since I actually loved my car. I’m really still in
shock that I won’t have that car any more. :\*(
the reason it was totalled is that the core support was wrecked.
That’s the molding and mounting area all around the wheel wells,
where the motor mounts, shock towers, radiator, compressor, etc
all attach to, and is welded to the frame. All of which, was
crushed backwards and down into the front end of the motor,
destroying the
plastic? not hardly. I was going 60mph and hit a 150lb moving
object. Not too many things are going to survive that impact with
little damage.
Off to car-hunting I go… :run:

Its is these foreign cars man now if you had a 1970 ford or Chevy not only would the deer had been killed instantly but you wouldn’t have a scratch on it. hahha kinda funny that the deer walked away but the car didn’t well your car fought the Battle but the deer won the war.
