# My day job: HTML5 Tooling for Metro style apps via Blend!

As some of you may know, I work at Microsoft on the Blend team. My job is to help design features that allows someone to visually build/design HTML5 applications destined for Windows 8.
Last week, I did a recording for Channel 9 that gives an overview of how you can do more with HTML5 without writing markup manually. Along the way, I cover some nifty features as well :beam:
