Rather than write about my life, I have decided to do a blog on Wimbledon Tennis, having a global event on my doorstep seems a good topic for a blog! [www.2006wimbledontennis.com](http://www.2006wimbledontennis.com) I’m going to try and make some ‘pocket money’ through advertising, but Im just hoping to learn something by doing it 🙂 Tomorrow morning I’m going to be taking most of the imagery for it. If anyone has any ideas\comments\advice then fire away! There are very few resources out there, so any help would be great! 😃 Billy PS, its dummy content for the moment… trying to get some cool Wordpress plugins to work at the mo… ---

I like the site! You probably will be able to make some money from advertising, but how much was the domain name? ---

The site is a word press template that I customised to my needs! 🙂 the domain cost £15, about $25. i think i was lucky to get the domain 🙂 ---

But you know in 8 months the “2006” part of the domain name will start bothering you… ---

You should have had 2006 as a subdomain, then it woulda been easier You could have then redirected the user to the correct year ---

it was the best domain i could get out of the combinations 🙂 as has been said i just won’t renew it for next year. Although Wimbledon is known for the tennis, it is a very popoular place to go out in SW London, so if any of you are planning a trip over then have a look!
