I’m making the transition from mildly successful Flash films to games, and am finding it infinately challenging.

I’ve gone through every single tutorial I can find on creating a basic RPG inventory, and am building this program under the directions that these tutorials give…but I am getting frustrated and losing sleep over this issue with the inventory. Hopefully a Flash veteran can show me where I am going wrong…

When the player runs over the small white box, it is supposed to move the item into the player inventory. Instead, no matter what I do, it moves the item elsewhere farther away from that inventory. Can somebody explain what I am doing wrong, and how I can better learn inventory concepts?

I’m pretty sure I can’t get the attachments on this board working…so try accessing it at [http://www.kirupa.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=11396](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=11396)

Thank you kindly.
