# mySQL 5 is out

Thats right folks just went to [www.mysql.com](http://www.mysql.com) on a random visit and I was greeted with a banner saying “mySQL 5 is here!!”.

The one feature that caught my eye.

[SIZE=6]Stored Procedures[/SIZE]

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 🙂

but who dare install it on their server or local server??? I’m gonna hold out until I know it is compatible with the latest PHP module and some other stuff I use it for.
