# mySQL Error: 1064

Hey, I’m trying to create a table with this:

```auto

CREATE TABLE guests ( 
id int(10) NOT NULL auto_increment, 
name varchar(50) NOT NULL, 
message varchar(255) NOT NULL, 
date timestamp(14) NOT NULL, 
PRIMARY KEY (id) * ); 

```

But i just get this error:

> #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘\* )’ at line 5

How can I get the table to be created?

I know as much as nothing about databases, so please help if you can.
