Hi, I’m relatively new to Database Design, and I’m using Dreamweaver MX 2004.

Anyway, here’s a link to my site:

Basically you can see I have the database created and here are my 3 tables.

Table 1. tbl\_service (all the services offered)
Rows (1. service\_id Primary Key) (2. service\_name) (3. service\_description)

Table 2. tbl\_provider (the providers of the service)
Rows (1. provider\_id Primary Key) (2. provider\_name)

Table 3. tbl\_link (a table that links the two other tables together
Rows (1. link\_id Primary Key) (2. service\_id) (3. provider\_id)

'k…So here what I can’t figure out how to do.

I need to be able to add a provider, and when the form to add the provider is submitted, the new formed Primary Key of the tbl\_service and the Primary Key of the tbl\_provider are inserted into the columns in the (tbl\_link) { service\_id and provider\_id }.

Any ideas??

Thanks!!!

~Troitone~
