# Mystery EXE runs but Swf does not

Not sure where to put this. Does anyone have any experience creating standalone exe files for large scale flash applications? I have none and I am simply inquiring as to possible ways that the a swf could have been incorporated into a standalone flash application. The solutions I have found on google and other forums are not what I am looking for.

The issue is mainly that when you run the swf nothing happens, whilst the application compiled at a different time does work. When I compile the swf again without altering the fla nothing works.
