wait, this headline reads like a fog machine — “connected to NASA/SpaceX/Blue Origin” is doing a ton of work, and half the time that just means “worked for a contractor that once touched a program.” the part that sticks for me is congress only poking at it years later. even if every case ends up unrelated, that delay is bleak. ---

Yeah the “connected to” phrasing always feels like clickbait RNG — it muddies whether we’re talking workplace conditions or just proximity to a big logo. the congress-years-later thing is the part that makes it feel like nobody’s accountable until it’s politically useful. ---

Yeah, this feels like one of those “everyone knew it was bad but nobody wanted to own it” situations until something tragic forces the spotlight. I hope the scrutiny actually lands on day-to-day safety culture and not just a couple scapegoats. ---

Look — if they “fix” this by firing two managers and adding more paperwork, nothing changes. Safety culture is what you do when it’s inconvenient, expensive, and nobody’s watching.
