hi everyone!
i want to have an action on rollover (masking effect) for a botton in a navigation bar? is this done in the botton scene? or directly into the actions panel? or any other… EASIER solutions?
am i making sense?

If I understand this correctly, what you’ll need to do is create a movie clip that gives your rollover effect, then place it on the ‘Over’ state of your button.
This way the effect clip will run when the mouse passes over the button.

with the masking effect…
the original text always seems to turn gray… why is that… and how can i change it?
