First up, cool board.

Ok I,m new to flash and can’t work this out. I’ts probably easy.

I have a button made with a movie clip, The movie is triggered by a button so the clip plays on mouse over, and plays again on mouse out. My problem is I can not get it to navigate the main timeline on release. The only action that works is Get URL…

I want it to control the main timeline (root i think)? so that when the button is pressed, on release it goes to scene two frame one for example… I’m sure this can be done… Arrghhhhh it’s driving me mad…

Thanks in advance and a Merry Christmas to all

Yes Yes… Common problem 🙂

Unfortunately you can’t change a scene from inside the movie clip, you have to change it on the main timeline.

Perhaps this link will help you to better understand…

If not, post any further questions you have here and I will try and explain them better 🙂

BTW: Merry Christmas to you too \<:}
