Right Guys, I’m in need of some help… I am about to begin working from scratch on an ‘ambitious’ project, which includes the scripting of essentially terrain aware AI… although this project is not actually a computer run program, this is robotics AI… I am sort of shifty on understanding basic pathfinding techniques, so can anyone pls. either explain here, or send me a link to a site that explains different methods from getting something from point A to point B with obstacles in between… i dont mind the tutorial being arranged around a certain coding language (c++, actionscript, watever) as long as it involves explaining the actual technique and explanations for what the code is doing so that I could atleast learn the basic principles behind pathfinding AI…

Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
AV
