second one looks really good and great composition with the 3/4 view and use of text and shape.

The composition of the first one is great, but I agree that there’s way too much contrast between the dark and the light. The skin tones need to be sorted out there, but the overall idea and approach is good.

Second one I also like, though I have an issue with the fact that the hair is part of the background. Personally I’d prefer to see a bit more definition in there, but that’s just me. I’m not convinced about the nose, either. The rest of the pic has nice detail, except that area. I know noses aren’t the easiest pieces of the body to draw though…

for me, i realisized that the hair part is the hardest, so i merge the hair with the background to make it more unique image. But thanks Kitiara and guinness for the feedback.
