# Need Flash Application : Personal Link Manager

This is a contract for a SINGLE flash application - “Link Manager”.

**Project Overview** ------

I want an application using flash components that can create / modify / and view an external text file that is located within website directory.

**Usage** ------

Filesize - about 200k or less (depending)

This application will be used solely for my personal / professional links that I have acquired. Consider this application a “global favorites”.

**Required** ------

Internal scripting - version 7 as2

Server Side - php

Category Sorting Capability - (already within the dataSet/grid component)

I want to be able to view details about the links,  
Including - category(1.Login Site, 2.Tutorial Site, 3.Portfolio Site, 4.General) / title / url / short description.

[_]Login - Username and Pass  
[_]Window(component) for creating link / Window(component) for modyfing link / Window(component) for displaying link  
[_]Within the Windows for creating&modyfiing - Text box for “description” & “title”, Combo box for “category”, Submit / Reset(Component) button  
[_]Within the Window(component) for viewing, A radion(component) for displaying the correlating category in a listbox, When I click on an item in the listbox I should have the correlating information displayed in dynamic text boxes, a goto button & a modify button  
[\*]Within the modify and create Window(component), a scripting element to write the modifications to the text file located on my webserver

I will not profit from this application nor will it be distributed freely without your written approval - as the creator. It will solely be for my personal and professional link management. With that said, I am willing to pay for the service you provide for me. In turn I ask for the complete project - fla and all files. For future education and maniuplation of the application.

Pay – Depending on Turnaround and Details, $50 - $100 USD.

I am leaving much of the creativity and design work up to the designer/developer, in hope that you will use this experience to educate yourself and possibly have a nice flash application for a portfolio piece. (not that you may need one 🙂 )

(for those of you who frequent the flash mx 2004 forum here at kirupa, yes I have posted this same post there, but I am now considering it as a contracted job)
