# Need FLV muted by default

So i have a flv playing on a flash load. I need the mute button toggled to “mute” by default. I have looked high and low and cannot seem to find a solution any ideas?

```auto
my_FLVPlybk.muteButton = mutebtn;

```

that is the mute button instance i am using.
