# NEED HELP AS3 is preloading AS2 and it stops working

Hi everybody and thank you for taking time to look at this. I am new to flash and am trying to build my [portfolio site](http://www.imageinlife.com/potest0115.html) in Flash CS4. Within this portfolio site I have several external AS2&XML galleries. The galleries work fine when I test them individually in Flash, however, when I test the main movie clip, it will load the specified gallery but only display the first image. Even after clicking the next\_btn only the first image is loaded - although the description text jumps accordingly to the image number.

I could not attach my files because of their size, and I don’t know how to put the code into a separate window. I attached the AS and XML file of the gallery as txt files, but like I said, the individual gallery tested works fine just not when I play it from the main movie.  
And again, the description text works (to some extent) but not the pictures.

Also, in my painting gallery I would like to have multiple lines in the description text, but it will only display the first line, am I not allowed to use \<br /\> and \<strong\> …within the caption part of my XML file to modify the text??

Every help will be deeply appreciated and, of course, credited on my finished site - if it ever happens.
