# Need help choosing the right monitor :)

Hey, what’s up people!

Anyone here knows A LOT about pro monitors? 😃 I need one.

I’ve been using the most \*\*\*\*iest monitors all time long, and only now then I have the money to spend, I actually can let myself think about getting a monitor I deserve!

So **I’m looking for 27-inch, IPS monitor with 2560x1440 native resolution.**

Currently I’m looking at Dell U2713HM. It’s not as great as U2711 then speaking of colors but it’s great for other reasons like USB3.0 support, a little bit nicer design, new panel (which is I guess worse than that one found in U2711, since it’s a true IPS and this one has the new AH-IPS panel covering _only_ 99% sRGB palet), it’s LED backlit and it has that better glare thing (you know everything yourself if you’re into this anyway). And it’s cheaper and newer.

Any thoughts and suggestions?

I will be glad to hear any.

Oh, right. I’m gonna be using it for internet, music making, movies and **design** (!!!).
