# Need Help for creating a full-flash site

have some problem when building a full-flash site. I followed all the steps through the last procedure; however, it doesn’t work. I tried to do it again and again but it still doesn’t. I wonder if there’s any main point that I have missed.
It seems I have followed the correct procedure up til the adding code part. Should I put the code in the nav\_background and edit each button using “edit in place”? Can you help me on that? Thanks in advance.

Hi raymondcleung - welcome to this fine forum 🙂
I hope you’ve spotted that there are a huge amount of talented individuals here - but so that _you_ get the benefit of _their_ experience, you’ll need to give em a few more clues!
eg How does your site not work? ie Where does it fail? And how?
{hint}uploading part, or all, of your .fla will help 😉 {/hint}

I was trying to play around with the tutorial on this web for the full-flash site. I’m not sure which part fails. I compared mine with the nav. part doesn’t work… I don’t know where I did wrong. It cannot open the .swf file on the original .swf

make sure that you gave the objects the correct instance names… thats often a problem for some people…
go back through the steps in the tutorial and make sure that youve done them all correctly… you cant go wrong with a kirupa tutorial… if all else fails, post your FLA
