# Need help in standalone application run on server

Hello all,  
Need expert help to develop an application.  
Standalone application which will run on server and called dynamically.  
This application will take parameters specified and load swf files accrdingly and extract text from it and store it in xml file.  
Save this xml file on server in some folder.  
Once given set of files are done, the application will close itself.

Any thoughts how to go about it (Flash/Flex/AIR app or something else)?
