# Need help with a button in Flash8

Hey guys, love the site!

My Q is I’m trying to do a simple task here with buttons, and I’ve spent hours and hours digging my head into action script, but can’t get this to work correctly.

I have 2 raster images (off state and on state), I want the rollOver and rollOut functions to work this way:

\*On top of the first image, I want the rollover image to “wipe” in. So far I have done this correctly and RollOut works as well.

My second thing I want the button to do is strobe when clicked on (onPress). Well I did that as well, but after I have clicked it, it will also do the RollOut as well and I have to hold down the mouse button for it to complete the onPress action. It all looks funky when I click on it. RollOver and Rollout are fine.

I’d really appreciate it if you guys could help!
